Web12 Jul 2014 · Tech Support led you astray. (S)he must have thought the NAS was a PC. PowerChute does not have a Synology package but you shouldn't need it. UPS support is built in to the NAS. Plug it in via USB and it works. There is a thread on here dedicated to which UPS works.
