WebJun 26, 2011 · With F/T if they dont eat it's wasted. We have to many snakes for them to not eat and have to throw away a bunch of rats. As for the never re freezing them. Once they are thawed and warmed and left for awhile they will start to harbor bacteria. Just like with humans you dont thaw out a stake and the refreeze it. WebI have a 3 year old male Ball Python, I got him last October, he's my first ever snake (the only other reptile I own is a bearded dragon). I've recently become kind of scared to feed him, he's done nothing wrong, his appetite is fine, he's never bitten me, it just seems like it's something on my end that's started making me a little bit scared.
