It needs huge investment (as does Newhaven Town). Dieppe is the complete opposite, nice port area and lovely town. Once in Dieppe, about an hour drive to Le Havre / Honfleur. WebJun 9, 2024 · The Newhaven-Dieppe service is a good alternative route and is ideal for foot passengers as the services can be used overnight where as from Calais foot passengers can only use day crossings. The vessels could do with updating but for the price it is not much of an issue. Date of experience: June 2024
